Dead Until Dark
I picked-up this book after reading and falling in love with the Twilight series. I watch a LOT of youtube, and some people that loved Twilight suggested this series.
I thought this book was very interesting. I really enjoyed the direction in which she took the book. I though having vamps come "out of the closet" was interesting. What vamp/human blood represented..and the synthetic blood "Tru Blood." The tv series was good, but quite different from the books.
This series (compared to Twilight) is a more "grown-up" vamp series as (especially in the tv series) deals with sex and feedings. If you liked Twilight, I would recommend this book for a fun read.
I got my sis (dallas) hooked on both series, and she really enjoyed both series. She has finished almost all of the Sookie Stackhouse series, and hopefully ::winks:: she will write a review on them.
